  • DEADLINE for registration: January 26, 2013.
  • DEADLINE for Sr. High Band & Sr. High Choir: February 8, 2013.

Syllabus

  • Alberta Music Festival Association (AMFA) Syllabus
    This syllabus lists the classes available to enter in the St. Albert Rotary Music Festival.
  • A Local Syllabus/addenda is also available which provides a supplemental list of classes.
  • A reference copy of the AMFA Syllabus will be available at the St. Albert Public Library by
    Dec. 1, 2012.

Local Syllabi

  • The 2013 Local Syllabi [Dance | Music] are available online at:
    St. Albert Rotary Music Festival. They are addenda to the main AMFA Syllabus. If necessary, additional classes can be created for individual/group performances that do not fit into existing classes in either the AMFA Syllabus or the Local Syllabus.
  • Hard copies of the Local Syllabi will be available at the St. Albert Public Library by Dec. 1, 2012.

Scholarships | More

  • Junior [$100], Intermediate [$150], Senior [$200]
    –in all performance genres
  • Lyle Moore Scholarship [$1,000]
    –payable in post-secondary tuition to an advanced level musician planning a career in music.
  • Rose Bowl [$500]
    –to most outstanding performer or group of the Festival
  • Elsie and Bill Filipchuk Bursary for Musical Theatre [$400]
    –awarded to performers in Musical Theatre [aged 16 and under]
  • Marsha Stanton Award [$500]
    –awarded to the student who enters a large number of classes in a variety of disciplines
